PDO THREAD LIFT
The Age Defy PDO Thread Lift is a procedure where PDO Threads with small cogs or barbs on them are strategically inserted into the skin via a cannula. After insertion, the sagging skin tissues are pushed over these threads in the direction of the desired lift, causing an instant lifting of these tissues. Korean FDA cleared PDO threads are used at Age Defy MD. The threads have a dual action. They not only mechanically lift sagging tissues but also stimulate the production of collagen over time, that supports the skin. The PDO Threads get dissolved and removed from the body in 6-9 months. There is minimal down time and pain, the cannula entry points are not visible and there is no scarring post treatment. Results last from 6-10 months.
